Every neighbourhood has surrounding communities which make up its 'Nearby Neighbourhoods'. These are a cluster of neighbourhoods closest to you. When you use Neighbourly, you have the option to see posts from your own neighbourhood, as well as your nearby neighbourhoods.
This Nearby Neighbourhood features enable Neighbourly members to communicate with members who live in other nearby neighbourhoods. When a member starts a new conversation, they can choose to share the conversation with either:
- their own neighbourhood only, or
- their own neighbourhood + all other nearby neighbourhoods.
You can find this option after clicking on 'Post a message, event or poll to neighbours', then picking 'Choose Neighbours'.
If you'd rather not see anything from your Nearby Neighbourhoods when scrolling down the feed, have a look here for instructions on hiding those.
