When will Neighbourly be back?
We’ll be back just as soon as our brilliant new site is ready to go. We're not sharing an exact date yet - we'll email every member before the new Neighbourly opens, with everything you need to know.
Do I need to do anything before Neighbourly closes?
No. Your account moves with you automatically. If you're in the middle of anything - a Market trade, an event you're organising - aim to wrap it up before 23rd September.
What data of mine will you migrate?
Your profile - including your name, contact details, address and neighbourhood - along with your verification status, badges, and how long you've been a member
How do I update or remove any data I do not want migrated?
You can update or deactivate your profile any time before 23rd September. You can easily take care of that in your account settings.
What happens to my account while Neighbourly is closed?
It's simply waiting for the new Neighbourly. We'll use it to set you up on the new platform and nothing else. If you'd rather not come across, you can close your account in settings before 23rd September.
Why close before the new Neighbourly is ready?
Pausing the current site is what lets us bring everyone across to the new Neighbourly properly, in one go.
I was in the middle of something when Neighbourly closed - can you help?
Yes. For a short period after 23rd September, our team will still be able to access Neighbourly behind the scenes. Contact helpdesk@neighbourly.co.nz, and we'll be able to help out!
What about my business listing or subscription?
Business profiles and followers move to the new Neighbourly. If you have a paid subscription or booked posts, our team will be in touch personally before 23rd September to look after you - see business FAQs here.
