When posting a message or replying to a post on Neighbourly, you might wish to mention the name of one of your neighbours to include them in the conversation, or to direct your reply to one neighbour in particular. Tagging a neighbour means their name will appear as highlighted in the post or reply, and they will also receive an email notification letting them know that they have been tagged.
Anyone seeing the message can click on your neighbour's name and visit their Neighbourly profile. You can tag anyone in your own neighbourhood and Nearby Neighbourhoods.
To tag a neighbour in a post or reply
- In the message or reply field, type @ and your neighbour's name to generate a drop-down menu
- Select the name of the neighbour you wish to tag
