Temporary verification is limited and temporary access to Neighbourly. All Neighbourly members with this access have an 'L' (for 'Learner') displayed on their profile picture.
Temporary verified members can post, contribute to discussions and send and receive private messages, however they cannot see the addresses of other members in their neighbourhood until they are address verified.
When creating your Neighbourly account, you will have the option to use Neighbourly as a temporary verified member, after uploading some proof of your address. Your temporary verification can be activated using a text message code sent to your mobile phone.
If you complete driver licence verification instead, you will gain full access to your Neighbourly community straight away.
If you're already a verified Neighbourly member and have moved house, you will be automatically given temporary verification at your new address, and will be reminded to complete your address verification within 28 days.
